Kelly Schembri

NOAH Director of Human Resources

Living on one of the planet’s largest islands, Kelly has a special love and respect for water.

When it comes to water, Kelly understands the importance of water management. Living in the beautiful but water challenged island country of Malta, she is diligent in recycling and conserving water, even reusing her AC water.
With a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology (honors), she has served in numerous business and human resources positions for large organizations. This includes Talent Acquisition Specialist, HR Coordinator, and Payroll Administrator. Kelly has training in the employee life cycle – ranging from on-boarding, staff development, General Data Protection Regulation, payroll and off-boarding. She brings a fresh perspective to the table in terms of business, while keeping NOAH’s employees’ needs at the forefront.

Kelly has a passion for her work, a passion that cares over into her love for sports, training, nature and traveling.

Kelly is outside Għar Ħasan Cave, located within the cliff-bound coastline south of Birżebbuġa, Malta. Għar Ħasan, currently closed to the public for safety reasons, is a magnificent cave with an eerie legend tied to it. In the most popular version of the legend, a Saracen named Hasan is said to have abducted a beautiful Maltese farm-girl and held her captive in this cave. A number of locals attacked the cave in order to save the girl. Rather than be captured, Hasan pushed the girl into the sea below and then jumped in behind her, causing both of their deaths.
